With the current worries about the environment, cars are getting more compact and environmentally friendly. Gone are the days of the big, beefy SUVS that guzzle gas and take up two parking spaces. The good news is that compact and midsize cars are becoming more attractive and family
friendly. Take for example the 2010 Ford Fusion.
The least expensive and most fuel efficient (besides the Hybrid) of the new Fusions is the four cylinder. It gets around 30mpg. The basic four cylinder has a lot of kick. Most think of any four cylinder as a snail, but with the 2010 Ford Fusion, this is far from true.
The newest Fusion exterior does not look much different than its previous models. This is not a bad thing, it is sleek and sporty. The hood, grill and headlamps have been slightly redesigned, making the aerodynamics of the 2010 Ford Fusion better than previous models. It is quite a head turner, and people are likely to check out the Fusion everywhere you go.
The interior of the 2010 Ford Fusion is incredible. It has a SYNC infotainment system, making it easily compatible with Bluetooth, iPod and other electronic devices and a built in GPS and on star. Most of these things are becoming standard on new cars, so it is nothing groundbreaking, but it makes the interior feel high tech and expensive.
The standard model of the 2010 Ford Fusion is under $20,000. Its standard version comes with plenty of options. If you start adding options the price can go up quite bit. Most are looking to save money in today's economy, so sticking with the base model is the way to get a great deal. It is great from the inside out, and comes with more than enough options.

Quality Used Cars
Buying a car can be an expensive outlay. Although it may be your dream to own a brand new car they can be out of your affordable price range. There is another option available-this is to buy a quality car which has been previously owned.
The depreciation value of a brand new car is well known. As soon as the car is driven off the forecourt the value drops-sometimes very drastically. Here is your opportunity to buy a car which the original owner has lost the depreciation value on not you. In other words their loss is your gain!
When buying a car there are some key points which you should take into consideration. A relatively new car being sold privately at a cheap price should ring loud alarms bells. There are thousands of cars sold in the Australia each year which have been stolen. If you think about it logically if a newish car was legally owned would it be sold at such a low price?
The answer is almost definitely no-anyone looking to sell their car wants to get as much money as possible. A relatively new cheap car being advertised may well be legally owned, however ask yourself why they want to get rid of it fast by selling it cheap. The owner may have legitimate reasons-however you should err on the side of caution. Make sure you have a full history report carried out. These can be requested on line-there is a cost involved-the results will identify if the car is stolen, been involved in an accident or still has outstanding credit on it. If you buy a stolen car or a car with outstanding credit it can be confiscated and returned to its rightful owner-it will be irrespective if you bought the car in good faith. You have little or no legal rights or consumer protection if you buy a car from a private seller. Or it could be that the car keeps breaking down. Either way this is not the type of car you should think about buying-cheap does not usually mean a good investment.
If you want a car which is legitimate, has a full history of previous owners and has been fully inspected, the best option is to buy from an approved quality car dealership. Not only will you have far more safeguards and consumer rights, you can buy with confidence that you are getting a bargain not just a pile of troubles.
Approved car dealerships work in partnership with the manufactures. Many are also franchised to a main dealer. Both of these are key factors to consider when buying a quality car. Approved car dealerships generally have a number of manufacturers with whom the work. However, there are some dealerships who only sell approved cars for particular manufacturers. Therefore if you are looking for a specific make or model of car these are the dealerships you should be looking for. A huge advantage of choosing to buy from a franchised dealership is the scope and amount of cars they will have available. Many are more than happy to transport a car nationwide if you have spotted one on their website which is not being held at your local dealership. Read more.

Cylinder Head Problems
After the big thaw many motorists will counting the cost of the big thaw. As thousands find that having no antifreeze is likely to have cracked the cylinder head on their car. These costly car parts can be found used by logging on to FordProSpares making a simple request.
In an internal combustion engine, the cylinder head sits above the cylinders and consists of a platform containing part of the combustion chamber and the location of the valves and spark plugs. In a flathead engine, the mechanical parts of the valve train are all contained within the block, and the head is essentially a flat plate of metal bolted to the top of the cylinder bank with a head gasket in between; this simplicity leads to ease of manufacture and repair, and accounts for the flathead engine’s early success in production automobiles and continued success in small engines, such as lawnmowers. This design, however, requires the incoming air to flow through a convoluted path, which limits the ability of the engine to perform at higher rpm, leading to the adoption of the overhead valve head design. A Short History On Atomic Car
A short History on the Ford Motor Company's atomic powered Nucleon.
The Age of Wonder Today! or 1957!
The 1950’s was a time of many crazy fads , inventions and gimmicks. It was the decade when hoop skirts, hula hoops the microwave oven and other “modern” inventions dotted the American landscape and wormed their way into the hearts of Americana. One wild invention fueled by both Cold War paranoia and the atomic energy craze was the nearly forgotten Ford Nucleon.
The Ford Nucleon was unveiled by the Ford Motor Company in 1957 as a concept car the Nucleon was deemed to become the car of the future. It was billed as being a cheap, clean burning, and long running nuclear powered car. Ford’s engineers imagined the car being fueled by a downsized version of a reactor already in nuclear submarine.
The engine would use uranium fission generate a steady supply of steam which would generate power by super heating and cooling. The car would be designed to run on it’s generator for at least 5,000 miles or so and when the rods were spent fueling stations across the country would safely swap out the spent rods and replace them with fresh.
The body was designed to be aerodynamic and sleek with a low one piece windscreen a design of low profile frame that draws the eyes across the car to the sweeping into classic fins. The reactor would be placed in the rear of the vehicle with an exhaust fan facing upward.
The Ford Motor Company also envisioned the Nucleon changing the American landscape. No longer would petroleum based gas stations dot major cities and highways. Instead they would be replace with nuclear service stations which would house rods to be purchased to swap out for commuters or vacationers so they could continue on their merry motorway. If repairs were needed to this space age motor coach no worries because it would have been constructed of universal parts for upgrade and easy repair. Read more.

Keep Your Ford on the Road
Used Ford Car parts, or those of any other car manufacturer, can save customers an astonishing amount of money, especially when compared to buying a new vehicle. If your car can be repaired for far less than the costs you would face when thinking of possibly having to replace it, in this economy that is the smart way to go.
After all, as soon as you started driving your car, even if it was brand new, the parts became used. So if your car runs on these "used" parts, if you can get quality replacements from a 25-year-old established company, and if you have someone who is experienced at replacing those parts in your vehicle, you can expect to continue to run your car for quite some time to come.
Using an ecommerce website that you can turn to in order to purchase online the exact parts that are needed from an inventory of over 80 million auto parts is the way to go. Most vendors stock such popular parts as alternators, carburetors, engine assemblies, master cylinders, a/c compressors, mirrors, fenders, headlights and tail lights, radiators, fuel pumps, and much more.
Used Ford parts are easily accessible because Ford is the world's fourth largest automaker. You can save money with a Ford because, for instance, for the 2007 model year, Ford was producing 13 U.S. models that achieved 30 highway miles per gallon or better. These vehicles were recognized by the EPA and Department of Energy Fuel Economy Guide as "best-in-class fuel economy".
In order for consumers to save even more money in the future, the Ford Motor Company challenged University teams to come up with a durable and lightweight vehicle for a target price of $7,000; and Aschen University students created the 2015 Ford Model T.
2008 was the first year of the Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup where a field of identical factory built Ford Mustangs (the most successful sports cars) race against each other. Read more.
